March 7th friday night, my husband and I went to one of our favorite places, the St. Louis Art Museum. The featured event was "Art in Bloom". Famous florists (the likes of those who work with Gucci, Oprah, Fendi, Carolina Herrera, Martha Stewart and other celebrities) create incredible jaw dropping arrangements that imitate and complement famous works of art. For example, last year a gorgeous floral arrangement was positioned in front of Monet's "Water Lilies", mimicking the soft color of the lilies and their delicate shapes.
